Starch Processing

Starch Processing

Industrial processing of sweeteners from starch is a technology which was initiated just after World War II. The the Danish inventor Mr. Karl Krøyer then developed continuous converter for hydrolysation of starch.

DSSE carries on the activities started by Karl Krøyer. More than 40 years of experience in process development, design, construction, and maintenance of production facilities around the world enables DSSE to provide sweetener technology and equipment, tailor-made for any specific need.

The applicationof new enzyme technology and advanced computer controlled process control systems makes it now possible to tailor sweetener products, such as glucose syrups with a specific DE, to meet specific customer needs for a defined composition of different hydrocarbons.

Through optimum utilisation of raw materials, minimum energy consumption is guaranteed in every DSSE delivery. Furthermore, DSSE is also focused on environmental impact and we are constantly reducing the amount of effluents such as waste water.

DSSE's technology and know-how make it possible to produce a wide variety of sweeteners from various starch-containing raw materials, such as:Starch Processing
